We just keep going from celebration to celebration. When it is not a wedding, it is remembering the life of a loved one.

Tell us more about yourself
My husband Garry and I operate Kettle Creek Weddings- Oakville through Niagara Falls. We are both ordained ministers trained to perform weddings professionally.

Before starting Kettle Creek Weddings-Burlington, we co-ordinated Alliance Marriage Encounter weekend events for married and co-habitating couples. These weekends were designed to help couples improve their communication and their relationships. We have fond memories of our couples and the teams of people who worked with us.

We have enjoyed 33 years of marriage and have had the privilege of raising 4 children. Over the years we have lived all over Ontario in both large cities and rural communities.

In our spare time we love to dance and travel. Orlando, Florida is our favourite city. There is always somewhere to dance!

Smaller Weddings means Smaller Venues

The wedding industry is changing! This past year we have noticed a shift in the size of weddings. I don't think it came just because of the spiraling market. In fact, cost today is not the number one factor. Couples today want to share their special day with special friends and family. Gone are the days when distant relatives and old, forgotten neighbors joined the ranks of the guest list. There is a new authenticity that is growing. And I believe we are seeing it in weddings. Couples today are… Continue

AFFIRM Fully

Be each other cheerleaders. When one of you has a win at work or in any area, celebrate! A world of strangers cheering you on will not mean as much as one person who loves you cheering. Believe in each other.

INITIATE Forgiveness

Saying, “I’m sorry” is taking responsibility, not avoiding it. Saying “I’m sorry” expresses the desire to restore the relationship over being right. It values relationship over assigning blame.

Fantastic Anne! I think I've heard about the former Yorkville cork store. There was also a cork company downtown Toronto called "Ontario Cork".
I appreciate you contacting us and hope to see you around the community!

Hi Anne,
Thank you for asking about cork flooring. It absolutely can be used in residential situations (the most common place is the kitchen because that's where most people spend time on their feet). It provides a warm, soft feeling yet is easy to clean. If you have a chance, drop by our showroom in Oakville (www.corkhouse.com) where you'll be able to walk on cork floors.
